School Volume 3 “I play double bass” incl. accompanying CD

Description

I play double bass – Volume 3 extends the previously acquired tonal stock (Double Bass School Volume 1, Double Bass School Volume 2) up to the sixth position. More advanced techniques such as spiccato (jumping bow) are explained in detail and practiced with examples. For a more refined shaping of the tone, left hand vibrato is learned. The circle of fifths is supplemented by new keys and the corresponding scales. Also the playing in position is trained more and more intensively and with extensive performance pieces. All exercises and pieces were composed by me and reflect contemporary musical styles, so that the fun of making music is encouraged.

An accompanying CD was recorded by the jazz trio “mg3”. It is intended to facilitate and harmonically complement practicing alone at home. The enclosed piano part makes recital evenings with accompaniment as well as making music together with piano students possible.
